your Quick questions answered
For all of the delightful people looking for a quick answer to an easy question, or for my fellow introverts looking to skip the emails-this page is for you.
Q: Where is your bakery?
A: Currently we are located in McKinney, Texas. You can find us at farmers markets around DFW, and we also team up with local businesses for pop up shops/collaborations! Brooke also travels and offers pastry courses in Europe over the winter months. We are so happy and proud to be the community bakery, and couldn’t make this dream come true without you! Keep an eye out for our pop ups/collaborations/markets on our social media.
Q: What are your hours?
A: Currently our hours are every Saturday from 8AM to 12PM at the McKinney Farmers Market. We do occasionally market hop, as well as do pop up shops, so keep up to date with us on social media as to where we will be (both Instagram and Facebook). We take pre-orders from Monday-Wednesday, and only by email. We understand social media is super cool and convenient, but to stay organized, we only take orders by email.
Q: Do you have a menu/what can I pre-order?
A: We're a bit unconventional over here at The Rosemary Bakery. While we do have our staple menu items available most of the time, our menu is ever-changing with the seasons. You can, however, count on us having the same product line! If you want to put in a pre-order, you'll have to shoot us an email and we'll send you over our current menu options.
Q: I sent you an email, but I haven't heard back just yet. When can I expect a response? This is urgent!
A: We understand you sent us over an email, and we promise we will get back to you! We try our best to stick to a two day policy, but sometimes life does happen and it may take us a bit more time to respond. We politely ask that you do not send us multiple emails if you do not receive a response that exact day. While we do appreciate the attention, it won't garner a quicker response.
Q: Do you offer any gluten-free or vegan options?
A: As much as we would love for our celiac friends to enjoy a pastry from us, we can not 100% guarantee that it didn't come into contact with flour. Therefore, we don’t offer gluten free baked goods. As for our vegan friends, we've got you covered! Just head over to our contact page and send us an idea of what you're looking for.
Q: I'm not really into experimental food. Do you make anything more on the normal side or really sweet pastries?
A: We can make something on the more normal side of the spectrum for you, but our entire bakery revolves around herbal/floral notes or plants that we forage for. Our pastries heavily reflect a European style and everything has a beautiful balance. We believe a baked good does not have to have a ton of sugar in it for it to be delicious, which is an important part of our pastry-philosophy! While we can appreciate a good sweet dessert, it's just not what we create (not to say that we don't have sweet options, they are just less sweet than other baked goods here in Texas). We hope you give our product line a try, and are able to channel all of those beautiful travel memories you might have from across the pond.
Q: Do you cater events?
A: We sure do! We'd love to meet with you over coffee to discuss just what it is you're looking for and what we offer, or connect over email. We're all about setting up, slinging some pastries, and helping you enjoy your event with ease.
Q: What about catering weddings?
A: YES! Sign us up! Check out the page fully dedicated to our brides and grooms for all (or most) of your questions.
Q: Do you travel?
A: We allow a certain distance of travel included in our catering pricing, and then charge after that distance is exceeded. We will also travel out of state/country and can discuss pricing over email. Brooke also travels during the winter to hold pastry courses for those looking to learn more in-depth and have a hands-on learning experience.
Q: Do you do collaborations?
A: Collaborations are always something we enjoy! Working with other creatives is such a dream, and we just love creating magic with others. Feel free to shoot us an email over on our contact page!
Q:How can I contact you/what is the best way to get in touch?
A: To get ahold of us, we ask that you simply head over to our 'Contact Us' page to reach us by email. While we do enjoy getting Facebook and Instagram messages, it is our policy to handle orders and business by email only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate you working with us!
